This page contains the terms and conditions for giveaways and competitions that occur from time to time on Console Arcade. Please be sure to read them carefully.
i) Participation in any giveaway / competition / promotion constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these rules along with the decisions of Console Arcade which are final and binding. Winning a prize is dependent upon fulfilling all requirements set out.
ii) Only one entry per household / Twitter account / Gamertag / PSN account etc. Attempts by one person to make multiple entries will result in disqualification, so please don’t do it!
iii) If the prize takes the form of a code for redemption of a game you must ensure that you have access to the appropriate service and subscription in order to redeem the code.
iv) The closing date is specified in each giveaway, promotion or competition. Shortly after the closing date winners will be drawn randomly and notified via their mode of entry ie:- direct message on Twitter, via email etc.
v) In the event of any dispute regarding these rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to a giveaway, promotion or competition, the decision of Console Arcade shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
vi) No cash or other substitution will be made, except at the discretion of Console Arcade, in the event of the giveaway prize being unavailable.
vii) Console Arcade cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the giveaway or as a result of accepting any prize. This includes, but is not limited to, any problems with the postal service or third parties, technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination of these, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or console related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials.
viii) Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to any third party. Any personal data collected in the course of running a giveaway (ie: email addresses) will be deleted once the prizes are claimed by winning entrants. Information provided WILL NOT be sold on to third parties or used for any other means other than entering a competition, giveaway or promotion.
