This sounds like a bit of an odd one and no mistake – Ubisoft have announced that their publishing Bloody Good Time on XBLA.
Developed by Outerlight the game is coming on 27th October (just in time for Halloween then) and uses Valve’s well known SOURCE engine.
The multiplayer online shooter will feature a number of different characters including The Surfer, The Beach Babe, The Goth, The Bunny Girl, The Showgirl, The Clown, The Gambler and The Stoner who are auditioning to star in the next movie by famous Horror movie producer, Director X. What they don’t know is that Director X films real action and the violence in his films is all too real – sounds like more streamlined version of Manhunt (but probably minus the boring and never-ending controversy).
The game will feature four modes supporting up to eight players:-
Hunt: hunt down and kill your quarry, but look out for the unknown hunter that is stalking you.
Elimination: murder your way through the cast one quarry at a time to be crowned the last man standing.
Revenge: Each murder earns you a new quarry, but adds to the list of players out for violent revenge. Watch your back.
Death Match: Everyone is a target.
