We asked for more DeathSpank and we’re getting it! And sooner than we could ever have imagined too!
There were strong rumours that more was on the way (as if the the cliffhanger ending of the first wasn’t enough of a hint) when the Xbox Achievements for something called DeathSpank: TOV appeared on various websites. Now HotHead Games have confirmed that it’s subtitled Thongs of Virtue and was being worked on in tandem with the original.
A stand alone title, the game is promised to be 50% longer than the first, which was no slouch in the length department to start with. Expect this sequel to arrive on the 21st September for both PSN and XBLA, priced the same as the original release.
Is it too soon for more Deathspank? HotHead are certainly striking while the proverbial iron is hot and only time will tell.
