Since last June it’s been no secret since that THQ are working on a PSN and XBLA tie-in to go along with the next chapter in the Red Faction series. Now they’ve officially confirmed that the downloadable tie-in will be subtitled Battlegrounds and be an “isometric vehicular combat game”.
THQ seem intent on a slow drip of info for this at the moment and all they’ll say is that it’ll feature 4 player co-op and feature unlocks for Red Faction Armageddon when that arrives on PS3 and Xbox 360 later next year.
Expect Battlegrounds to arrive sometime before that and hopefully we’ll get some images and video of it to enjoy soon.
