As we reported almost two weeks ago now, Nintendo are keen to expand the WiiWare service to provide demos of some games in the hope of enticing more people to try them (as well as allowing them to filter out the rubbish before purchase).
Now European WiiWare users are first to get the opportunity to try out some demos – for a limited time only there are three available to wet your appetite. These include My Life as a Dark Lord, BIT.TRIP.BEAT. and NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits.
Since the demos are only available until 31st January 2010 this looks to be some sort of pilot scheme by Nintendo to try out the system. It’s Europe only at the moment and unknown whether they plan to extend this trial to other regions as yet.
