The rumours are no longer rumours – it’s now been confirmed by developers The Behemoth that their best selling XBLA title Castle Crashers is coming to the PS3.
Castle Crashers has proved immensely popular on the 360 since it arrived last summer, selling over 900,000 copies. It even made it into our top five of our favourite games from 2008. PSN users will undoubtedly be pleased with this news and rightly so – it’s a cracking game that deserves as big a fan base as possible. See why we love it so by reading our review.
There’s no word of a release date yet, but the game is being shown at Comic-con this weekend, indicating that it’s at a pretty advanced stage. We’d expect a release before 2009 is out.
