Shred Nebula For XBLA

Coming in Quarter Three of 2008 to XBLA is shooter Shred Nebula from CrunchTime Games.  The game, described as “a drift style space game in the classic Asteroids top-down genre, only completely re-envisioned with modern controls, physics and free roaming gameplay” was originally thought to be coming this week during E3. Developer James Goddard explains the delay on his blog:

…last Friday we were given us the option to take a suddenly open slot for 7/16/08 and we took accepted it… scrambled to start announcing the date… we were later told that unfortunately this date turned out to not be available.

meaning they had to choose the next available slot. As the footage above shows, no doubt the game will be well worth the wait for shooter fans.
